About Us

The Vice-Rector of Research, Artistic Creation, and Innovation emerged as part of the process to strengthen research at Universidad Finis Terrae. Its history is linked to the creation of the Center for Research and Documentation (CIDOC), which marked a starting point in the institutionalization of knowledge production at the university.

The Vice-Rector’s Office fosters research, artistic creation, and innovation as core pillars of our academic mission. This commitment is integral to the institution’s strategic advancement, underscored by the recent introduction of its inaugural doctoral programs.

Its purpose is to enhance high-level knowledge production in an environment of excellence, addressing contemporary issues and contributing to the country’s development through interdisciplinary work and a concrete impact on society.

Directorates

The Vice-Rector’s Office coordinates the academic activities of Universidad Finis Terrae through three directorates: Research; Artistic Creation; and Innovation and Transfer.

Through these areas, the Vice-Rector’s office promotes knowledge production and the development of projects, connecting the scientific, cultural, and social challenges.
